Fantastic stroller
We own a 2011 City Mini Double. I absolutely love the quick fold and smooth ride of this stroller. It still fits our tall 4 1/2 year old and he loves that he can sit next to his 1 year old sister. The brake is easy to set and release, it folds very compact for a double and fits well in the trunk of our sedan. It's narrow for a side-by-side double and fits well through shop doorways and on sidewalks.
The things I do not love about this stroller are the small and difficult to access storage basket and the harness is tough to adjust (made more difficult with wiggly kids).
The pros negate the cons and I recommend this stroller to everyone. Love it!

Great stroller, great customer service
I bought an older version of the City Mini Double second hand. It looks like it's had at least 3-4 years of wear and tear already, but it still works awesomely for my twins. Just recently though one of the front wheels broke and came off the stroller. This made sense to me because it's older. I assumed it would start breaking down eventually. I called their customer service and explained my situation. Baby Jogger sent me a new wheel free of charge. This is despite the fact that I wasn't the original purchaser of the stroller and no longer had any kind of warranty. I'm so happy to still be using the stroller!

best stroller!
I had three other double strollers before this, and wish I would have spent the money and bought thw city mini double first. It is so easy to maneuver, it las flat so Icould use it right away with my youngest, who was 2 months old when we got it. We go to Chicago a lot, and it has been so easy to push through crowds on Michigan Avenue, and fits through all the doors. It folds so easily, and I still have half the trunk space in my van. My husband was hesitant when he saw the price, but the first time he tries it at a store, he was sold. My only complaint is lack of cup holders. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs a double stroller!

Very dissapointed
I thought I would be ok with the lack of storage and accessories that do not come with the city mini double GT but I was SOOOOO wrong! The storage basket underneath is practically useless unless you only need to store a diaper or something small in the space, forget putting a small lunch cooler or anything even remotely bulky in it. The fact that you have to pay for EVERY accessory is extremely absurd considering the high price for this stroller... $30 for a belly bar I mean C'mon, I am so upset that I made this purchase!!! If you are simply looking to have a decent stroller to push your children around in and have no need to store ANYTHING whatsoever than this is a great option for you:)

This stroller is a lifesaver!
I have 2 children (2 weeks and almost 2 years old), and I was admittedly pretty terrified the first time I brought them out together by myself. I am amazed by how manageable (almost EASY!) this stroller makes my outings. It pushes and turns incredibly smoothly, even one-handed! I can push and turn even while drinking coffee or checking my phone - I've even held and nursed my newborn while seamlessly pushing my toddler! And it really does fit through doorways. And i love that the seats lay practically flat - both kids can comfortably sleep (which is a plus for Mama and babies!). I highly recommend this stroller - when my oldest child outgrows the stroller, I'm going to switch to a City Mini single for my youngest.

Most used baby item with two kids!
We own the Baby Jogger City Elite single for our first daughter and we knew we had to have a Baby Jogger again when we had our second. We love this stroller. We use it with our 2 1/2 year old and our 7 month old. It's so easy to push, can push one handed; and rides great on long walks. Fits through any door way and even surprisingly handles stores and the mall. With two kids and their schedules, we love that both seats recline separately and they both like napping in it. It's lighter than our single stroller and folds so easily. I can even lift it from the trunk and open it while holding the baby. Only complaint is it's difficult to use the under basket and I take my stroller on all my errands.

A Britax Adapter Not Available
I first want to say we absolutely love our City Mini (single). It ideally met all our needs for city living.
When #2 arrived, we didn't have second thoughts (in hindsight we should have) getting any other stroller than the City Mini Double. To our dismay when the stroller arrived, the Britax car seat we used without a hitch on the City Mini is not compatible with the Double. There are no adapters to make it work.
This makes zero since. I guess if you're having twins the first time around this will not be an issue because you'll buy the car seats that are compatible. If you're like us and didn't have the foresight for baby #2, you're not going to buy a new car seat when the Britax you already have works just fine just to buy this stroller.

Double city mini review for twins
I brought the double city mini after extensive research and trying out different double strollers for baies the same age. This one was much lighter in weight. Very easy to fold. I just started using it - twice so far. Very smooth ride. Easy to push. After using this stroller, I have a few wishes.....One is I wish the handle could move so that the babies can face me, two....the storage basket under the seats are really hard to access, three.....for the price I paid for this stroller the belly bar, tray tables, organizer should be included. The main reason I brought this stroller is because it is lightweight and it has four wheels for stability. I still love the stroller.
