The city select® LUX Second Seat Kit converts your single stroller into a double stroller. The full-sized seat can hold a child up to 45 lb. When not in use, the second seat folds up to be 60% smaller than the city select® seat! It features an extended UV 50+ canopy, a reclining seat, and adjustable calf support. Kit includes the second seat and its mounting brackets. Now it's easy to keep your growing family riding along!

Manufacturing Date

You haven’t responded to anyone’s feedback. You don’t care about families and you should be totally canceled!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not buying from Baby Jogger Again Bought this stroller in the taupe color, and now I can’t find ANY parts for the stroller and can’t get my second seat! Very disappointed. I wouldn’t but the new model because they will just change it and not care that all the other people still need the older seats as well! Should have went with the Vista!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed LUX growing family I am also extremely disappointed with the baby jogger brand. I too bought the LUX stroller because of how specifically it was marketed to a growing family. Now we are unable to get the second seat attachments to make the stroller usable without being price gauged by other sellers if anything is available at all. The brand really let down me and others I know that are first time parents making an investment in a stroller to grow with your family.

The fact that they discontinued this yet still have it marked as available on the website when it’s not actually available is a joke I paid 800$ for my city select Lux specifically buying a stroller that can convert to a double with a future growing family in mind. I obviously wasn’t going to buy a second seat when I only had one child. who knows what life will throw at ya. Of course I planned on more kids but you just never know so figured I’d be safe to buy a second seat kit once I actually was “growing my family” you see that constantly in the description. But nope. I will never stop telling everyone I know how terrible baby jogger is as a company. This feels so wrong. Now I get to spend 500-1000 trying to buy a different stroller from any other company and the resale value of my own stroller just went down by like 300$ because it’s now a single not a double COOL. I wish they had put up any kind of notice that this was happening and I would have purchased a second seat right then and there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This stroller can't grow with my family anymore I purchased the City Select Lux in 2020 but now I learn it's discontinued and I can't buy any of the accessories or other products. It is so bizarre to me that other strollers wouldn't be compatible. Why can't I use the City Select 2 second seat adapters on the Lux? Why can't I purchase the bench seat anymore? The biggest reason I bought this stroller was for its versatility and adaptability but it's no longer versatile or adaptable. It's just a giant single child stroller. This was a huge investment down the drain, which is a shame because we like this stroller. Is there no way to get these products still? Why didn't Baby Jogger notify its customers? I registered my stroller and would have snatched these products up right away had I known the Lux was going to be discontinued. This is very poor customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely mad every attachment is discontinued Bought this stroller two years ago for our growing family. We sadly lost our baby during that time and currently are expecting another baby. I needed to buy an attachment for our new stroller so my surprise - that is discounted and being up sold for 4x the price on eBay. After buying that attachment - we needed another part to attach the seat for my toddler to the bottom. And it’s again - being re sold for 4x the price. I just spent 400$ to make the freaking stroller work instead of buying a new brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I lost $600+ dollars. In 2019 I bought the city select lux and all of its beautiful accessories. I’m in love with the product that is not the problem. I am annoyed because now my second baby was born which is why we bought a stroller that would grow with our family. But of course the stroller is discontinued and I can’t find the second seat adapters anywhere. So I’m out of options and now have to spend hundreds of dollars AGAIN to buy a double stroller. What a huge rip off. I am extremely disappointed in companies that take advantage of families like that. Do better and do not respond with we appreciate your feedback because you obviously don’t since everyone has written reviews about it and product is still unavailable. Your products are amazing don’t lose customers over availability

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loved it but they made it impossible to convert no Loved our stroller but they discontinued it and no longer make the second seat kit available…it’s impossible to find in other sites without an extra $$$. They keep suggesting eBay, which is also impossible
