Sounds like defect
I’m not sure whether to be relieved or extra bummed that so many others are having the same problems with their wheels that we are having. Otherwise the stroller is holding up great! But how is it that the entire stroller is holding up and the two front wheels are completely stripped? It seems like a defect. They should have been recalled and replaced. I wish someone had an update if the company did reach out and if they resolved it for you.

Front tires disintegrated
The rest of the stroller is in awesome condition, but the front tires disintegrated with normal use. It's really disappointing for a stroller that cost so much (especially once you add all the bells and whistles (double seats, car seat holder, kick board, etc., etc.).

I thought Baby Jogger meant quality. Wrong!
Should have never needed to buy a replacement. It’s not like the wheel broke, just one wheel completely disintegrated over time while the others were still plenty good. This is/was a known issue with these strollers but Baby Jogger never offered a free replacement option. When I pay what I did for a stroller, I expect quality. This is not quality. I guess this is how “they” get you.

So far so good! Improved product!
They must have finally listened to peoples complaints, because the new wheel replacements are not made out of the original foam. It's more like the rubber back tires. I think this will be a long lasting product. Fingers crossed!

Front wheel snapped
Nothing like being on vacation and needing your stroller only to have the wheel snap off while pushing it down a flat road. Clearly these wheels have a multiple issues. The wheels also started to wobble if we walked slightly faster than a slow stroll.

City Select Tire Failure
Recently had one of our front wheels start disintegrating (see photo), similar to many of the other complaints left here. Very unhappy with this, as the stroller has not been treated recklessly, gone off roading nor used for hundreds of miles yet. I went to this website to investigate the replacement parts section for tires/wheels.
What a shock when I saw I am not the only owner with similar problems. Based on the reviews, my original intent to purchase a replacement leaves me questioning that decision. But options are limited after the expense of the stroller and the various accessories that we now own.
Very tough to recommend a product that has this current reputation.
I need some support from Baby Jogger on this matter sooner than later.

Front wheels are junk
Like everyone else has mentioned here… I’ve had my stroller for not very long and one of the wheels has disintegrated And rocks are stuck in the crack in the middle. The other wheel looks like it about to do the same thing. The back wheels are fine. Shame on this company for not fixing an obvious reoccurring issue, especially when they charge so much for their products! Will NOT recommend to friends due to this issue.

Excellent Stroller. Subpar front tires.
In similar fashion to many of these posts, we love the city select, especially as we have a second baby on the way. But the quality of the front tires leaves much to be desired. The stroller is very well made, minus the foam front tires. $40 for a replacement that seems poorly made as well, doesn’t seem like an option. Very unfortunate.

Front tires not up to par
I’m frustrated with the lack of durability in the front wheels on this stroller. Nearly everything else about the City Select is perfect, but this one drawback is what keeps me from recommending it to others. This is my second wheel replacement purchase I’m about to make and I’ve had this stroller approximately 1.5 years. It is appalling to spend so much on what is seemingly a quality stroller only to have the wheels split down the middle a few months into regular use.

Front tires are terrible
I really want to say that I love this stroller, but the front wheels are basically disintegrating! I can't even understand it, because the back wheels still look totally fine. I'm disheartened to have to pay so much to replace the tires. :(

Issue needs to be fixed!
Front wheel poor quality I can’t afford to buy another set of wheels. Their expensive I have 3 kids 1,3 and 5 and I can’t even go out with the stroller.something needs to be done about this everyone has the same issue.

I only started using this stroller 5 months ago when my daughter was born and the wheels are all shredded up already. For the price of the stroller you would think they would last a little bit longer!

Poor Material
As many others have expressed, the front tires have not held up well at all. The material on the wheel has almost completely worn off for us. Now that I’m looking at replacement parts, I’m shocked to see the price is so hefty for what is clearly a common problem as well as the overall price of this stroller.

Easy replacement
We’ve had this stroller for 5 years through three kids and used it hard. I was jogging and hit a particularly big rock, and broke the front wheel. The replacement was easy to install and I think my 1 year old will still get plenty of use out of this.

Ridiculous price to replace defective part
It's amazing to read these reviews of so many customers who bought an expensive stroller, only to find that the front wheel tread self destructs, and then the manufacturer will make a profit off you again just to have a functioning stroller. Baby Jogger should take action to do right by its customers. And if it's going to sell replacement wheels, they should be more durable than the crappy ones the stroller came with so we don't have to replace them again.

Such bad front wheels
Just adding my story to the other 70 negative reviews here… front wheel completely disintegrated. It seems like such an obvious manufacturers defect that they obviously haven’t fixed yet. Back wheels look brand new. Why can’t they use the same kind of wheel for the front?

Wheel mount cracked in half
As others have stated in their reviews, the materials or design of these wheels must be flawed. Out pushing my kids for a walk, hit about a 1/4in high bump and the entire wheel mount split in half. Reached out to BabyJogger customer service 1 week ago and still haven't had a reply...
