Incompatible
I put this adapter together and tried to install it, and it won't fit. The retailer I bought it from (Babylist) won't accept the return once it's been taken out of the box and put together. I currently have this nice expensive City Mini GT2 stroller that I can't use for my infant.

Works perfectly!
I was a bit worried reading through these reviews that this wasn’t going to work correctly. It works PERFECTLY though. Easy to install and fits my Chicco Keyfit 30 perfectly. Whatever the previous issue was, they seem to have it fixed! I do wish I could leave it attached when folding up my stroller, but overall very happy with my purchase!

Fits our new GT2 perfectly!
I was concerned at first about buying this attachment for our new GT2 stroller based off all of the negative reviews, but I am happy to say that the one I just bought fits perfectly. I was even happy to find that our new Chicco Keyfit 35 Zip Cleartex infant car seat clicked in perfectly as well.

Works great, easy to install
The adapter was easy to install on our stroller, and the car seat is easy to latch into it. I had read a lot of reviews about the adapter not fitting, but didn’t have any problems - it seems like the issue has been resolved!

Not compatible with the stroller it was made for!
This product should have never been sold. It does not fit the City mini gt2. We tried for half an hour in a busy parking lot to get the adapter to attach to the stroller. The fabric covers the access point. Once we got it attached and put the car seat on, it popped out! Luckily my husband heard and caught the car seat before baby fell, but this product is so dangerous. Such a waste of money, and we don’t have a receipt to return it.
This is our third baby jogger we purchased (have the city select and Summit x3), and we’re so disappointed in the quality issues.

Does not work with city mini gt2
I like many others here have called customer service and they asked me to stretch the fabric. I tried but I got to the point where I was afraid to tear the fabric. Seems really bad and I don’t want to break the stroller. I am stuck and don’t know what to do.

Incompatibility Issue SOLVED!
I was hesitant to go forward with the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 stroller and Chicco KeyFit30 carrier based on the reviews for this adapter which mention incompatibility. Please note that the only incompatibility issue was with with a specific trim level of the stroller (I think it was called Breeze or something? Not the regular/standard GT2). It has been completely RESOLVED with a redesign of the adapter! If you purchase the adapter directly from Baby Jogger you should have no issue at all--I had no issues! Works perfectly and I love it. There is some risk that if you purchase this item from a 3rd party (Amazon, etc), they may have the older version of the adapter leftover in stock and send you one that has fit issues (again, IF you have the specific trim level that is affected). If that happens, you can contact Baby Jogger and they will send you the updated adapter version. All of this info came from a call with Baby Jogger customer service and again, I found it to be 100% true! I had no fit issues. Love my adapter and overall setup!

Worked for us.
Just sharing since a lot of the reviews say it does not work. We have the City Mini stroller and a chicco car seat, and had no problem attaching the car seat adapter and it fits our car seat perfectly. I did call the company before I ordered and asked, based on all the reviews, if the wrong adapters were still being sold. I was told the incorrect adapters were removed from their stock after all the complaints. I then placed our order and we haven't had any issues so far. Car seat seems secure but we've only tested it around the house.

Incompatible with City Mini GT2
Though it’s advertised to do so, this adapter WILL NOT work with your GT2. The fabric around the elastic band won’t flex enough for the adapter to be installed. Extremely poor design and a complete oversight. Save your money.

Do not buy!! Does not fit with GT2!
As others have said… the fabric covers the part where the adapter should click in. When the stroller is folded the adapter clicks in no problem… but as soon as you open the stroller the adapter comes off leaving it unsafe to use with car seat. It’s unacceptable that there is no correction for this.

* INCOMPATIBLE with Citi Mini 2 *
This Chicco car seat adapter is not compatible with newer City Mini 2 strollers, despite the description saying it is. As others have said, there is fabric blocking the adapter from being connected.
This is super disappointing, as this stroller and car seat were both recommended by Wirecutter. I’ll be reaching out to Wirecutter next week to recommend that they remove Citi Mini from their list of recommendations if I am not able to figure something out.

Terrible product, unsafe!
This is a terrible product, we use with Chicco KeyFit 30 on a city mini gt 2. The instructions are impossible to follow, the design of the stroller apparently changed from the time the instructions were printed. In practice on multiple occasions the locking mechanism has gotten disengaged on one side while the car seat was in the stroller. So I continually have to check that it is safely secured and correct it if we have gone over a bumpy section. Terrible product would give it a lower rating if I could.

Doesn’t fit city mini gt2 stroller
As other reviews have said (and I wish I had seen before adding to my registry 6 months ago), this adapter does not fit the gt2 stroller
with the chicco keyfit 30. The elastic cover pulls on it and doesn’t allow for a secure snap, so it pops out easily. Please stop advertising this as the correct adapter and send us one that works! Or the stroller that fits this adapter, either way.

Not compatible
Like others have said, this adapter is not compatible with the current city mini gt2. With a baby coming next month, I am definitely nervous about what I should do about this. Waiting to hear back from customer service. After seeing how long this has been a known issue, it is definitely disappointing that no information on this is provided anywhere on the website/description of this adapter.

THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR CHICCO
This product was bought for my citymini2. I have the chicco keyfit 30. This product is sold as being able to fit both the stroller and the car seat, and then to have them work together. They do not. The stroller fabric will not allow for installation. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This adapter does not fit the City Mini GT2 at all. As others have mentioned, something was updated and they no longer fit together. Baby Jogger is aware of the issue, but their only solutions are to take the entire stroller apart to remove all the fabric or to stretch out the elastic and fabric (not possible without destroying it). It should be discontinued until they can come up with a design that actually works.

ALERT: Incompatible with city mini GT2
Like others have mentioned below, this product is incompatible with city mini GT2 as advertised. The elastic is too tight around the mounting points and there's no wiggle room. If you force the adapter in, with the lightest tug the adapter snaps out as it's not a secure fit. The fabric around the mounts as shown in the image below is too tight to snap in.

Compat issues with City Mini 2 - protect your $
As others have stated, this adapter simply does not work with the City Mini 2 as advertised here. The workaround solutions others have mentioned were given to them by support are seemingly not simple. It's insane to me that this product is still being sold, for $70 no less, without some sort of warning past the reviews. And it boggles the mind how this manufacturing change was made without thinking how it could affect these adapters, which many rely on (and buy this stroller because of). So now, this stroller is essentially useless to me for the next few months.

As everyone else has previously stated the car seat converter is no longer compatible with the stroller due to whatever changes they made. even worse the company’s phone number is no longer good when called and no one responds to the emails to the site. I will never purchase from them again.

Does not fit
So disappointed… we purchased this adapter based on the compatibility chart showing it would work with our keyfit30. Unfortunately the fabric doesn’t allow the adapter to click on, rendering the adapter completely useless. I’m at a loss for what to do now. I thought I had done all my research thoroughly.

I bought a City Mini GT2 and checked all applicable serial numbers to ensure that I was purchasing the correct part. This is NOT compatible with the current City Mini GT2. It’s completely unacceptable that this is a known issue and Baby Jogger continues to sell the product.

DOES NOT WORK WITH GT2
This adapter does NOT work with the GT2. after trying to install this for 30 min because I thought I was doing something wrong I came here to see this is a Known compatibility issue!! I bought the stroller and Chico Keyfit 30 based on the fact that they were compatible with each other. Now it is likely too late for me to return the stroller I received as a gift And I have no way to attach my infants car seat.

Incompatible with Mini GT2
As others have pointed out, the stroller fabric prevents the adapter brackets from attaching to the anchor points on the stroller frame. It will rip if the adapter is forced into place. It seems like the fabric layout around the anchor points was recently redesigned and their adapter advertising, in terms of compatibility, failed to keep up. Consequently, the adapter is rendered useless for the Mini GT2.

As other reviewers have stated, this adapter does not work with City Mini 2 stroller purchased in late 2021. City Mini is aware of the issue yet continues to sell this product without a solution in place. This is absolutely unacceptable. It’s also unacceptable to suggest that I cut the fabric on the stroller as a solution to the problem. Our baby is due in a month and we don’t have a working travel system. How is Baby Jogger going to make this right?

Adapter does not fit stroller purchased Dec 2021
The elastic that exists on the stroller around the snap-in area for the adapter is very strong. The plastic part on the adapter extends too far down for the strength of the elastic. A small incision would seem to work, per CSW222 post above, but I'm afraid to void the warranty or do something unsafe for the baby. I would like for Baby Jogger to correct this issue and send a replacement. See photos. The first shows the elastic area on the stroller. The second indicates the stretched elastic area with the adapter shown - the fingernail pinpoints the issue area.

* INCOMPATIBILITY ALERT - CONFIRMED KNOWN ISSUE *
Beware - The City Mini 2 is not compatible with this adapter.
2 different baby jogger representatives have acknowledged to me there's a recently discovered known-issue (Dec. 21) but instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, they are giving work-around instructions that involve removing the seat cover on the City MIni 2 stroller altogether. This issue goes for the GT2 stroller as well. It may be possible to put the seat cover back on the GT2, but the Citi Mini 2 seat cover will have to remain off unless and until baby jogger updates the adapters, or you are willing to cut into your seat cover. They are not offering any meaningful solutions as of 2/2/22
