This newly redesigned stroller / jogger hybrid provides the essential features of an all-terrain stroller plus a compact one-hand fold, for on-the-go convenience.

The Summit X3 has no boundaries, no limits—it can go anywhere. This third generation stroller / jogger includes Baby Jogger’s patented Quick-Fold Technology, which allows parents to fold the stroller with one hand. It also features an all-new remote swivel lock that locks the front wheel for exercise or releases to swivel mode for strolling, as well as an improved all-wheel suspension system for an ultra-smooth ride. The Summit X3 offers hand-operated rear drum brakes for increased control on hilly terrain, 16" rear and 12" front quick-release pneumatic wheels, a padded seat with venting in the reclined position and a retractable weather cover. The large multi-position sun canopy provides ample shade and has a peek-a-boo windows and side ventilation. Recommended ages are from birth in a full recline, six months for street jogging and 12 months for trail jogging.

June 4, 2010 - The Baby Jogger Company™, original designer and manufacturer of the three wheeled jogger and all-terrain stroller, is pleased to announce the recognition of the City Mini stroller in the Australian International Design Awards. The City Mini showcased concise functionality, optimal maneuverability and modern styling, accounting for its recognition for Design Excellence among 42 competing products. In the final judging round, the City Mini was ranked as one of nine products nominated for the Design Award of the Year, and was honored to take home a 2010 Design Award on the evening of June 4th, 2010.
The Australian International Design Awards has been a division of Standards Australia since 1991 and are recognized as Australia’s peak design assessment in fostering a culture of design and innovation among products. Demonstrating excellence in professional product design, the Australian International Design Awards set a benchmark of design and quality in manufactured goods. While they do not currently offer a juvenile product division, the City Mini excelled in the “Consumer Goods” category among state-of-the-art kitchen appliances and electronics. Protect-A-Bub, based in New York, is a valuable addition to the Baby Jogger business. The acquisition will expand Baby Jogger’s product portfolio and diversify its capabilities of offering high quality items which focus on the utmost protection of children. Founded in 2000, Protect-A-Bub has been an industry leader in developing premium all-weather sunshades that easily attach to carriers, car seats, strollers, joggers and carriages providing 98% protection from the sun’s harsh rays. The product line also includes several styles of single and twin sunshades suited for all canopied strollers/joggers, as well as stylish rain covers, sunhats and colorful swimsuits. Providing sufficient sun protection on all strollers has been of high importance for Baby Jogger for decades.
