Trainer/Merchandiser

Job Description

The Baby Jogger Trainer/Merchandiser will be responsible for managing a variety of stores, depending on geography and size of stores in the specific market. Stores will mainly be national account chains, but may also include full responsibility for some independent retailers. The Trainer/Merchandiser is mainly focused on installation of displays and POS materials, visual merchandising, product training, selling in and implementing new products as well as reporting. No specific background is required, but good communication and interpersonal skills are vital. A heavy travel schedule, overnight stays and weekend work at consumer events/shows is necessary. Applicants must be ready to accept changing structures in the area based on market performances and company needs. Seeking applicants based within the NY Metro and the Miami Metro Areas. The territories include East Coast travel and some travel to Texas.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience from merchandising and training/motivating retail staff are distinct advantages. The ideal candidate will be flexible, mobile, hardworking and dedicated. Must be ready to implement the visions, philosophies and strategies of the company.
